Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 August 2026

These terms apply to everything you buy through samuelcyclestheworld.com. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you accept them.

Who you are buying from

Samuel Cycles the World, run by Wendy Dirksen Hermans.

  • Address: Calle Marruecos 20, 29014 Málaga, Spain
  • Email: [email protected]

What we sell, and how it is made

Everything in the shop is made to order by a print-on-demand partner, Printful, and shipped directly by them. Nothing is held in stock. That is why an order takes longer to arrive than something off a shelf, and why we cannot cancel an order once production has started.

Product photographs are as accurate as we can make them. Colours can look different on your screen than in your hand.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and are the total you pay for the item. Shipping is added at checkout and is shown before you pay.

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

If a price is obviously wrong through an error on our side, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will tell you before we do.

Your order

Your order is a request to buy. The contract is made when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot fulfil the order we will tell you and refund you.

Delivery

We ship worldwide unless the checkout says otherwise for your country. Expected delivery is 5 to 15 working days from the day the order is confirmed, but this is an estimate and not a guarantee. Customs delays are outside our control.

Outside the European Union, import duties or taxes may be charged when the parcel arrives. Those are yours to pay and we cannot tell you in advance what they will be.

If your parcel has not arrived within 30 days, email us and we will sort it out.

Your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind, without giving a reason. You then have another 14 days to send the item back.

To use this right, email us at [email protected] before the 14 days are up and tell us you want to cancel. We will confirm and give you the return address.

  • The item must come back unused and in its original condition.
  • You pay the cost of returning it.
  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, using the same payment method you used.

Return address: Calle Marruecos 20, 29014 Málaga, Spain

One exception. This right does not apply to items made to your own specification or clearly personalised, such as a product carrying a name or text you chose yourself.

If something is wrong with your item

If what arrives is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us within 30 days with a photograph. We will replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and you will not pay anything to return it.

This is separate from the 14 days above. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these terms.

Donations

Donations made through PayPal are voluntary contributions to the cost of the journey. They are not purchases, they are not tax deductible, and they cannot be refunded once made.

Money given to an animal shelter through a link we share goes directly to that shelter. It does not pass through us, and we are not responsible for how the shelter uses it.

What we are not responsible for

We do our best to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be offline or never contain a mistake. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Copyright

The texts, photographs, films and designs on this website belong to Samuel Cycles the World. You are welcome to share and link to them. You may not sell them or use them commercially without asking us first.

Complaints and applicable law

If you are unhappy, email us first. We would rather hear it than not.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
