15 November 2026 · Málaga, Spain · 25+ countries · 26,720 km · 77 shelters

In every country he stops at an animal shelter and films one dog. You scan the code and give straight to that shelter. Nothing passes through us.

Two pots.
Never mixed.
For the dogs

Goes straight to the shelter through their own code. We never touch it.

For the road

Keeps a family of three fed and sheltered for eighteen months.

Money for the dogs never touches our account. Money for the journey is managed by Wendy Dirksen Hermans on behalf of Samuel Cycles the World. No foundation, no overhead, no middlemen.

Meet Samuël
He has done
hard things before

At six years old, Samuël walked ten days of the Camino de Santiago. On his own legs, alongside his parents.

That is the child who is now getting on a bike for eighteen months. This is not a sudden idea. It is the next thing.

The mission
The part nobody
talks about

He leaves behind his school, his bedroom and his best friend José. That is the part nobody talks about when they hear about a trip like this.

This is not a holiday and not a stunt. Eighteen months on the road means school from a tent, laundry in sinks, and getting back on the bike on the days nobody feels like it.

"It's sad that they don't have a home."

Samuël, on why he wants to do this
